A great find! Have stayed in Malvern numerous times but this was our first stay at the Railway Inn. Really lovely rooms, friendly staff and delicious homecooked food. What more could you want. Real value for money, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. Will stay there again and would highly recommend.

Were very pleased with the large room, with everything you’d hope for there. Good views, friendly staff, good menu, plenty of parking, everything working well and clean. Wouldn’t have minded a mattress topper for my elderly aches, but overall an excellent find!

Everything that we wanted, nice room, seating area, good shower - top marks.Pity about no breakfast but there are places to get a nice breakfast not far away - Hanley Swan - careful they stop serving at 10.00 on the dot!, Waitrose, Henry's Cafe, again stop serving at 10.00, Faun is a bit different but great - and always Weatherspoons if you are desperate or on a budget.

Very clean and large room, giant bed which was very comfy, tv, tea and coffee plenty of, very quiet although on the main road. Set far enough back to block any noise, large open doors with a balcony rail, great in the heat. Slight mix up when booking we thought it wasbreakfast included, no big deal, Morrisons or the Kettle Sings cafe are close,thought the room would have been re stocked eith milk & tea bags, but on asking it was sorted. Altogether a great stay and would come back again no problem.

Having booked the day before we received an email on the morning of our arrival asking us to complete Guest Registration on-line. This we did and received an email acknowledgment.We arrived at our advised time, about 4.30. The lady at the bar/reception said she was not expecting us but, on checking the book again, then said we should be in room 1 but someone else was already in there so she would put us in room 2.The room had almost certainly had a smoker in it which I commented on but was told they had a non-smoking policy.After remaining in the room for a short while we realised it had not been cleaned at all . The shower had a used towel thrown in it, the bed had been tidied, presumably by the previous occupants on leaving but not re-made, the cups were still dirty, and the carpet was covered in dog-hair!The lady was very apologetic offering to get the room cleaned ASAP but we said we would rather leave. She did reimburse us immediately, but we were without the accommodation we had expected.I think the final statement needs to be 'Get your act together!!'

Iam lost for words with this Mr Stevens. I blame myself for this as i forgot to tell my cleaner that i had swapped room 3 to room 2. So, sadly she did not know she had to change the room. Our rooms are normally immaculate, with good reviews. All i can do is offer you a free room with meal for you both, to show you that our rooms are clean. As for the smoking smell i know for a fact the lovely couple that stayed in the room were non-smokers. if you would like to take this offer up, please ring me on 01684 312006Allison

I booked one night at The Railway Inn as I was in the area conducting some family history research. From check-in to check-out everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My room (No.1) was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Although the pub is situated on a busy main road, traffic dies down in the evening and I slept soundly, untroubled by traffic noise. I had dinner (a tasty, well-priced sirloin steak followed by strawberry ice cream to die for) in the pub, which I can highly recommend, and once again, the staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. I also enjoyed talking to two local customers at the bar, who were just as friendly as the staff and just as helpful with my questions about the local area. My family history research ultimately proved successful and my stay at The Railway Inn only enhanced my positive experiences and memories of the Malvern area. Thank you all very much.

We stayed for a wedding and I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating the hotel were with an early check in so that we could get ready. The room was also much more spacious than I anticipated with really large windows which was great. The room had everything we needed with tea, coffee, television, hairdryer and soaps and we were able to borrow an iron which was much appreciated. Only thing that would be even better was if there were some breakfast options too. We had a great stay - thank you.

No problem whatsoever. It would have been nice to have had a little more information e.g. Only tea making facilities provided. Nothing provided for making your own breakfast, etc but otherwise a good experience.

Clean and comfortable rooms with lovely views. All staff very friendly who couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. Little hidden gem, definitely stay again

We have stayed here a few times and this was our best experience to date.The rooms are spacious and clean.The food in the pub has improved since our last visit pre lockdown, the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and attentive. we have already booked our next stay.

Comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. Ideal position for our visit to Malvern. Room was comfortable with everything we needed. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Evening meal was excellent. We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Railway Inn. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities needed with ample space for our two dogs. We also had a very good meal.

Attended an expo at the three counties Showgrounds and booked the railway inn accomodation. arrived around 4pm really nice welcome from bar person. Rooms were lovely and warm plenty of space really well presented.We missed the kitchen unfortunately and only later seen the email from the owner asking did we want two Sunday dinners putting to one-side.Had a great night in the pub locals are really friendly and a big shout out to the bar person Mel.Travelled all around this beautiful country and for an independant operator "above and beyond" is an understatement. thanks again you lovely people.Johnny 1 and Johnny 2

Chose the Railway Inn as it is only 5 minutes from the 3 counties showground. Room was clean and spacious, staff very and helpful, food good especially the Sunday roast. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed at the Railway Arms overnight as a base for walking the highest point in Worcestershire.We arrived too late to have dinner but the barman was having his meal and it looked great.He kindly interrupted his meal to sort us out.Had a very enjoyable evening in the bar drinking locally brewed beer ably served by Tia (hope I've spelt it correctly).Got chatting to two local's, Howard & Mike (?) who gave us some local knowledge of cafe's and the best walks to the top.Room was a great size, very clean and tidy, nice and warm with a sitting area where we had a great view of the mist and drizzle :-(My only comment is there could have been more milk cartons for my morning brew.Had a superb breakfast, great value for money.Unfortunately the weather was not very good on the day of the walk so we had to resort to a shortened route from the accomodation door to the Beacon via the car parks and back.All-in-all everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome.Planning to go back to Great Malvern when the weather is better and we can do a longer walk with views and will be re-booking when we do.Cheers to all, especially Tia.

I would definitely stop here again.the room was spotless, views were amazing and lady who runs it was so nice and friendly.food was good too so all in all no complaints off us.wi be back soon.

Just a one night stay. Friendly staff. Large accommodation. There were faults with toilet seat being loose but still worked and the WHB push up plug was missing. My booked taxi failed to to turn up and the Chef drove me to destination in Colwall. Very good.

We were very impressed with the room. Stunning view, spacious and very good value for money. We enjoyed a pleasant breakfast in the morning.

Room was dog friendly, large with a king size bed. Hanging space n draws. Good mirror with hand plugs for hairdryer/ straighteners. Large TV. Good size ensure with shower enclosure. Two tub chairs with a coffee table and standard lamp. We had evening meal in the pub and breakfast the following day food was standard pub grub served in a timely manner by friendly staff. My suggestion for improvement would be to mount the TV a little higher on the wall as I found it awkward to watch in bed even though it was opposite the bed. Also to have a shelf in the bathroom to put your stuff on. Overall a good stop off and good value for money.
